Finding a Home
I know, I keep harping on this moving thing, but it's a big deal. I'm consumed with it. Finding the right home, packing everything you own, cleaning (yuck!), and just general upheaval are all stressful. My boss let me take the day off today. I need the next two weeks off to really get stuff together, but that will not happen. Plus, I'm an artist. That's my excuse for being a packrat. Are most artists like me? Maybe that would be a good subject for the QOTD?
I looked at another house this morning. It was on Nanette Lane. It was kind of disgusting. They had just had the carpets cleaned and it smelled like a wet dog. "No, No, Nanette." The owner was sooooo nice and I know he liked our family. It's not the house I want, but I feel I should have a backup choice just in case the other one doesn't work out. This one is only $95.00 more a month than what I pay now. The other one is $295.00 more than I pay now. Kind of a big difference. It's just that we all really love the other house so much. It is so private and secluded, even though it is located between Hwy 101 and the train track! It is so clean too. It is on La Vista Way. I even like the street name better. Not that something like that matters...but yeah. To move in, the "No, No, Nanette" house is $1495.00 + $1495.00 deposit = $2990.00. The La Vista house is $1700.00 + $2300.00 = $4000.00. So like $1000.00 more. I have no idea where I will get any of the deposit money for either house. I'm so screwed.
Maybe I'll add some photos later.
